How old were you when you could first recognize that water falling from the sky is rain?
How many times have you seen it rain in your lifetime?
Why is it, when having a conversation outside or near a window and someone states "It's raining out," do we feel the immediate need to look and verify the fact?

I like the warm, soft rains, in summer. Perfect for taking a quick refreshing walk without an umbrella.
Good point about the checking the window to see if in fact it raining . . .
