So I waited until 10 PM tonight to go to Walmart. It was kind-of spur-of-the-moment, but in trying to think about who would have ponchos (supposed to rain tomorrow at the game), I figured I'd better get out before tomorrow.
Well ... ugh.
It felt like a storm was coming. The parking lot was full, as normal, but instead there were carts overflowing to block entire lanes, pedestrians everywhere, and wonderful darkness.
Inside was not much better. It was crowded. There were few checkout lanes open. The place was full of students either a) grocery shopping or b) shopping for breakfast club costumes.
Oh ... and no ponchos (sold-out).
Dagnabbit.
